Bee in the Garden celebrates the beauty of bees and their importance to our gardens and food supply.
Step out of your usual evening routine to connect with others and learn the basics of embroidery. Join us at Maple Home Market in downtown Downers Grove, Illinois – 20 miles west of Chicago – on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 from 6:30 to 9pm
Bee in the Garden is stitched on off-white cotton fabric and measures 10″ x 10″ before finishing (e.g., framing). This project is suitable for all skill levels. Here’s what you’ll learn in class:
- Overview of the materials
- How to prepare and mark your fabric
- Embroidery stitches used in Colorful Webs
- Finishing options
Materials needed: Just your glasses, if nec, and a favorite pair of scissors, if desired. The price of the class includes all materials needed to stitch this project.

If we have a waitlist for the class you are registered for and can fill your spot, we will issue a refund for the class fee ($48), less the service charge and processing fee of $1.75.
